Catching Up...Part 2

Here's a bit more of what we've been up to lately. Here are some cute shots of Laina from July 4th....before the fever hit! I absolutely love this gymbo top, which ever so appropriately says "Miss Independence".

Here are some pictures from the parade we attended in Ocean Park, which is a tiny section of Old Orchard Beach. Folks from Ocean Park like to distinguish themselves as being from Ocean Park...and not from Old Orchard. If you're from here...you'll get it. The parade was adorable and those of you who are from Maine will get the humor in the "Pier Fries" people.







Laina has always been a big fan of our cat, Max. He's the "friendly" cat that doesn't run when kids come near so kids are always drawn to Max. Recently though, they've begun playing together. By this I mean that Laina has learned that if she shines her Elmo flashlight, Max will chase the light. Its really adorable to see the two of them interacting. She also pets him (nicely now!) and he loves that!
