Let The Decorating Begin!

The full on decorating will commence this weekend but for now we've got our porch twinkie lights lit, our wreath hung and I let Laina fill my favorite vase with these cute little Christmas bulbs (picture below). She's very into decorations this year. Every house we drive by she says "mommy, there's more decorations!" and on the insanely decorated, somewhat circus like houses she just says "WOWWWWW", which cracks me up.


Last night after bath we snuggled on the couch and watched Rudolph. I haven't actually sat down and concentrated on Rudolph in a number of years and I'll tell you, it starts out not so nicely! Santa is grumpy at everyone, the lead elf is super mean to Herbie, Rudolph's dad shuns Rudolph, all the reindeer torment little Rudolph and then the big mean white snow monster shows up to top it off! Luckily it ends on a happy note and Laina really enjoyed the program.




And finally, for Flashback Friday....here's a picture of Laina last December. Look at her little face! She looks so much more like a toddler in this picture! Wow, she really has changed a lot in a year!
