Bat & Ball
Laina and Daddy have been playing "bat & ball" (as Laina calls it) in the backyard for a long time now. When they play, Joe pitches balls to Laina and she hits them. She's really good. So of course we signed her up for t-ball. When she asked me why it was called t-ball I explained to her that for younger kids who don't know how to hit a ball that is pitched to them, they put the ball on a stand called a "t" and kids can just swing at the ball. I love her response....."but Mommy, I know how to play bat & ball". Our little slugger just loves t-ball and man, can she hit a ball.
