Princess Laina's Birthday Extravaganza, Part I

This year I decided to do two parties for Laina! She's in a bigger school now with a lot of friends and has begun to be invited to various "kid birthday parties". In return, she wanted the same. I didn't want to let go of my family gathering. I just couldn't picture my family sitting through a kid bash at some kid focused center so I decided I would do two parties. This is probably the last year for the family party so I really wanted to enjoy every moment of it, which I truly did. Laina is so excited for her birthday and her excitement is contagious!

Baking one of the many cakes needed for our castle cake. This was the first time Laina wanted to use the mixer. Usually its too loud for her but this time she was into it. She cracked all the eggs, poured all the liquid into the cake mix and she mixed the cake. Pretty soon she'll be decorating them for me!
