We turned coffee filters into..........a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my parents 50th wedding anniversary party! Check it out!

Pirates!

We took Laina to her first hockey game. Not quite sure what took us so long, especially given Joe's love of the game. Laina had a wonderful time - she made it through the entire game which I was impressed with. And on the way out, we got to pose for a quick pic with Crackers, one of the mascots. Fun!

Valentine's Day

What a loving Valentine's day we had! We started the morning out with heart shaped pancakes...yum! Joe surprised me with beautiful flowers earlier during the week and then on Valentine's day he and Laina gave me a new charm for my Pan*dora bracelet. I got Joe the soundtrack to our new favorite show. And we got Laina a bevy of wonderful things - the funnest of which is her first Web*kinz animal! She's been having a great time setting up Sophia's room on the web, buying her stuff at the W*shop, and playing games with her. At the end of the day Daddy surprised Laina with a bouquet of flowers - sweet!

Basketball Award

Laina finished her basketball season in full glory! Lots of successful baskets, a wonderful medal and overall a super fun experience. I love that Joe was her coach. It was a very sweet heartwarming experience to watch him out on the court herding four year olds! Way to go Laina - you did a GREAT job!!!

Watch Week!

This is the week we get to watch Laina and the girls in dance class. It's very fun to see the progress they've made. Here's a great picture of Laina and her friends from dance class after they practiced their routine for the June recital. They are all holding flowers. Their costumes look like flowers and they will be holding flowers for the routine. Cute, cute, cute!

Gearing Up for Valentine's Day

Laina and I decided to ring in February by making some heart shaped sugar cookies. Yum! We also headed out to dinner and in true Laina fashion.....she needed to get all dressed up and beautiful for the big night out. She's so cute.
