Yummmm, Hot Cocoa!

After our first big snow storm with lots of wet heavy cold snow, Laina and I came inside, got in our PJ's and enjoyed a nice warm mug of hot cocoa....that's what winters all about, right!

I'm Dreaming Of A White.........Christmas Tree???

Ok so, long story but we decided not to get a real tree this year. We have an artificial white tree that we got for our front porch. This year we decided to make it our indoor tree. Why not, right? Who says Christmas trees need to be green anyway? While it wouldn't be my first choice to have a white tree every year, I have to say that I really do like it now that its up and decorated. Here are some pictures which include Laina placing the first ornament on the tree (a gingerbread she painted in pottery at school), the tree fully decorated, and my beautiful Christmas elf!

First Winter Snowfall

We had our first wintery snowfall here last night. It was only a few inches. Not too bad. Our snow blower is still in being tuned up so Joe shoveled with the help of his trusty pal, Laina. Then he pulled her around the yard in her sled and they played in the snow for a bit. Joe does such a good job playing with Laina in the snow. I'm not fond of the white stuff. Here are some cute shots of the good times.

SPG Next Gen: Holiday Palooza 2009

We got together with the girls yesterday for the annual Holiday Palooza and had a wonderful time. The kids are all getting so big and they have a great time playing together. It was fun to see everyone and my oh my did we eat well!

My Bohemian Girl

I got Laina out of the bathtub and told her to dry herself off, pick out her clothes and get herself dressed. I then went downstairs and waited to see what she would come up with. And here it is...

Cooper's World

Cooper has definitely found a place in our hearts here. He's still a wild and crazy puppy, and we'll all be glad when he turns two and hopefully starts to calm down a bit....but we're enjoying the heck out of him and just love him to pieces. Here is Cooper doing what Cooper does best....playing and resting!

Happy Thankgiving!

We had a very nice, very quiet Thanksgiving at home. We returned from our vacation the Monday before Thanksgiving so we just decided to have a very low key day at home. It was really nice. Here are a few pictures of Laina and Joe and Thanksgiving dinner.
